Groovr is a community for vinyl record collectors. Discover records available for swap from collectors in your city, send swap offers, and arrange the hand-off in person. Add your own collection, build a wishlist, and meet people who share your taste.
Open the app and sign up with your email, Google, or Apple. After verifying, set your username and city so we can show you records nearby. You can import your existing collection straight from Discogs.
Yes. Groovr is free to use, and during early access every feature — including Spin, Shelf mapping, and AI trivia — is unlocked for all members at no cost.
Find a record you want in Discover and send a swap request. The owner browses your collection and picks a record they’d like in return. Once you both agree, a private chat unlocks so you can arrange to meet and exchange the records in person. When you’ve both confirmed the hand-off, the swap is marked complete.
No. Groovr is built around local, in-person swaps with collectors in your city. There is no shipping or payment handled through the app.
Chat unlocks only after both people agree to a swap. This keeps conversations focused on real exchanges and helps reduce spam.
Tap the “⋯” menu on any listing, profile, or chat and choose Report. Tell us what’s wrong and we’ll review it. We act on reports of objectionable content or abusive behavior within 24 hours. You can also email support@groovr.me.
Open the user’s profile or your chat with them, tap the “⋯” menu, and choose Block. Blocked users can no longer contact you or see your activity, and their content is hidden from you.
Groovr has a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, hate speech, illegal goods, and any objectionable content. Listings are moderated before they appear in Discover. Violations can result in content removal and account suspension.
Go to the Profile tab and tap edit. You can update your username, city, avatar, and preferred genres at any time.
On the login screen, tap Forgot password and follow the emailed link. If you signed up with Google or Apple, use that same button to sign back in.
You can permanently delete your account and personal data from the Account Deletion page, or from within the app under Profile settings. Deletion is permanent and removes your listings, collection, and messages.
